Had Frank Magee and his buddies out today for a good day of fishing.
As soon as we broke to te outside we were greated by birds working over a wide area. Machine was light up like a Christmas Tree with the reading, we along with 6 or 7 head boats and a couple dozen private boats were jigging up a storm. Threw just about all we had from AVA, Deadly Dicks, Krocodiles, Hopkins, Storm Shads, Kast Masters, etc.....nothing a couple of bumps but no hook up......for all the boats and lines in the water saw one Blue and a short bass landed..........after a couple hours of this deceided to hit the bottom fishing.
As were were late after chasing Bass to the grounds had to motor around to find a good spot as the area was jammed.
Made 4 drops total and each one produced fish, Black Fish up to 17", Sea Bass to 13" and real nice Porgy's to 14". Most of the Sea Bass were all small, pulled a lot of small Tog. Boys went home happy with plenty of meat in the cooler.
All in all a good day, plenty of Rod Bending and Fish in the cooler, just wished the Bass would have cooperated first thing.
