Had an open boat trip today with Keven M and Rob R. target was Weak Fish.
Deceided for a later start to time the tide as the outgoing has been the ticket. Ran to my spot jast as slack hit, great reads....no takers. As soon as the tide started to run out the bite began, a steady bite 1-2 fish per drift. No throw backs, largest was 21". We were all alone.
At one point acres of rain fish were around us with Bass swirling and Blues breaking water, tried everything on the boat managed 1 10 lb Blue.
Toward the later part of the trip made a change in locations, great weakfish bite and it was getting better as the light was fading. But alas were were out of worms and had the limit.
Made a nice slow ride in cleaned the fish for some happy guys. We will target weaks as long as the hold.
