Had the Mike Smart Charter on Board today, Mike was joined by friend John and Joe.
NOAA had forcast 9-14 out of the north, she was blowing all of 20+ when we headed out, a little dicey coming out of the river as the seas were building.
MAde it over to Romer and set up clamming.
Took a bit but we had fish on, Mike scored his fst ever striper. Bite seemed to die.
HEaded out to between the channels and jigged Short Bass and Cocktail Blues...Thing were going good until a frew A-Holes keep dring into the working fish and scattered them.
Switched over to pulling wire, Joe caught his first bass ever and we hooked a few keepers and shorts.
Did have another fisrt this trip hooked a 20 lb Ray on an umbrella rig......
All in all a good day two fishermen got there first bass ever and the poles were bent and every went home with a nice amount of fillets.
