Another successful swordfish trip. Yes, the Friday Night Open Boat Swordfish trip we run every week on the Catch My Drift has found the elusive swordfish again. This week they were 2 for 3 on swords. One fish was a 50" forklength and the other was a 77" forklength fish with a 42" girth measurement. The formula we use to calculate weight puts the larger one at 196 pounds. It was a slammer of a night. We missed another fish, no telling how big it was. Thanks to everyone who came, I'm glad you guys had a good trip and everyone went home with a ton of swordfish steaks. Your freezers must be overflowing.

I will have to post pictures on a future update. Capt. Adam told me his pictures turned out lousy, but the mate, Josh, got some good ones. To anyone interested in trying this trip out, check out my website or give me a call. We run the trip every Friday night from 6PM-2AM and we've been on a great string of good trips lately.

Until my next report....
