Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Navesink River

Went out today with the boys from Bucks Co, PA. Paul, Jim, Steve and Bily.

Fished the Navesink River on the outgoing into the slack. Hit a cuple of the spots a yesterday with slwer results, switched to a couple new holes, again a slow bite....heavy-heavy chum......clams, mussels and sands on the hooks.

Managed 13 keepers to 17" 4 throw back and a shortie Striper 22". Nice day on the water (never really a bad one.)

Guys had a blast and went home with the meat.....reschuled for another trip in a couple weeks.....
