7-16 & 17 Open Boat Trips

Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report

Ran open boat trips on the 16th and 17th, both trips produced quality fish and some good keepers of Sea Bass and Fluke.

On the 16th Wil, Jim, Craig and Howie were on board for a a full day trip. Fished down the beach in deep water. Put some Sea bass to 16' and Fluke to 24 1/2" in the box. Everybody went home with fish....Howie had the largest Fluke (24 1/2) and Will was the Sea Bass slayer pulling 9 keepers.

On the 17th we had Paul, Sam, Ken and Cloe aboad for a 1/2 day open boat. fish some deeper waters close by. Good results as everybody had keepers over 21", Cloe outfished the boys with 4 keepers.
