August Was a Hot Month!

August was an awesome month. My clients landed 267 redfish in August and countless trout and ladyfish. Along with running 24 charters I also filmed a TV show with the 'Reel Animals' Captain Mike Anderson and Capt. Billy Nobles. These guys are awesome to fish with and the laughs never stop. There were several 'Slobberknockers' landed and it was just great fishing. As good as Augst was September can be even better. If you like top water action September is a great month for the top water bit. MirrOlure Top Dog Jr. and She Dogs work great! Many of the redfish landed in August ate the MirrOdine 17 MR. It is a suspending twitch bait and the fish love to eat it. Most of our trout were caught on 1/8 ounce jig heads rigged with the Rip Tide 3 inch mullet. I ran my first charter in September today and we landed 29 redfish. Looks like it could be another hot month! Come on down to Florida and catch some redfish. 19 days are already booked!
