As temps fall, the fish bite reely just heats up. The WhipaSnapa Charter boat (Biloxi,Ms.) reely is your one stop shop for your boating excursions.

Mr. David Hewatt, enjoyed the Horn Island camping trip this week, the two day excursion turned out to be some what turbulent for a few hours as a cool front passed through with strong winds, cool air and lighting. Mr. David says he was prepared so it was just part of it. Just made the camping adventure that much more enjoyable and memorable. Mr. David said,"It was a very nice relaxing, beautiful get away. The quiet solo time was much needed."

Mr. George and another Mr. David, were our guest (mid week), compliments of the Beau Rivage and Grand Casino of Biloxi, both catch and release trips. Man, the big trout bites continues to be awesome . I mean Whoopum! Catch all ya want! BIG TROUT! I did keep a few to give away (my friends love me). Few Reds, flounders (which were delicious), sheepshead, and black drum also added to the light tackle string pulling excitement.

The fall run on Cobia looks to be very promising also. As I went out to pickup Mr. Hewatt (camper guy)from Horn Island. I swung by and ran the buoy and scored with a couple nice cobia. Which this time of year gets to be very exciting. Large Ling (cobia) make their return migration back down yonder. It's not uncommon to see some 30 cobia in the pods when they surface chasing a friend who is hooked an being reeled to the surface. That's when cobia madness breaks out! Getcha 4 or 5 hooked up at same time and OMG!!! Don't Forget the Gag Grouper season is now open and several others out there to Yank on ya!!!! Good time to get that freezer stocked up...

Anyway folks, the ol' 2011 fish season is wrapping up BUT still some great memories to make. So Moan Down here to South Mississippi jump aboard the ol' WhipaSnapa and make yours!!!

Book your Boating Adventures now!!!

Many thanks to all and God Bless!!!!

Bio: Capt. Robert "Earl" McDaniel was born and raised on the beautiful Back Bay Biloxi shores, and has been a licensed fishing charter boat Captain since 2001. "I have enjoyed fishing as well as boating these beautiful Mississippi waters all my life, and I enjoy it as much today as ever. What a great place to be at the ‘crack of dawn' or anytime for that matter, its just a great place to be, so I like to spend as much time possible even when not fishing, out running crab pots or catching bait. I keep a large variety of bait fish (croaker, pin fish, menhaden etc) on hand for each trip so we always have what the big fish want (specks, cobia, reds, snapper). I have always enjoyed tournament fishing, and have won several snapper, cobia, and king mackerel tournaments. I try to stay prepared for all situations on the water." The "WhipaSnapa" is a 2009, 29 foot c/c open fishermen "SOW MASTER" with twin 2009 250 Yamaha 4 strokes "SWEET". The boat has all modern conveniences including: private restroom, top notch GPS / fish finder, hard-top/enclosures to get out of the elements, plus the finest fishing tackle and weapons, "rods" on board at all times.. We carry all U.S.C.G. required safety equipment on board for the safest, most enjoyable trip. The WhipaSnapa, being just the right size, allows us to go into shallow back bay waters fairly easily to get to the specks, reds, and flounders, or out to the beautiful Barrier Islands for excellent fishing, camping, photography or just relaxing. Or we can get offshore some 100 miles to chase the big boys like "sow" red snapper, cobia, king mackerel, grouper, tuna, and sharks. One thing I have always enjoyed about a day on the wonderful Gulf of Mexico - you just never know. So come join us for a day on the WhipaSnapa and see for yourself how wonderful it can be!
