The surface water temp started at around 24.5deg just after 6am and the last reading I got before I left was around 27.5deg.

The wind was blowing hard.

Fishing was tough, and many fish were biting short and so we lost around 10 fish or so like this, and managed to land only 9 fish with most of them around the 250mm-300mm range and one decent fish of around 1.8Kg.

In the early morning we got some on weightless flukes, and we then moved to weightless senkos, and then later to drop shot.

The grass areas worked in the morning and then we got fish on drop shot at around 2m deep.

Later on it got overcast and the wind was even worse, but the top water bite came back.

All I can say is that it was very tough to get the fish we got.
