Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Ocean

Decided to go searching for some bigger fish today after yesterdays tough fishing in the bay, glad we did.....Caught the change of tide bite perfect, had one drift with 8 keepers from 4 to 8 pounds. Pool lead changed hands 4 times as it went from 5 1/2 to 6.5 then 8.4 with the winner being Normans fish at 9.2 pounds after his 7 3/4!!! Pool fish was thick as hell!

Scott Uribe had his limit with 3 fish over 5 lbs. Once again John Forelich just missed his limit but had 5 great fish, first one landed weighted 5 3/4 then a 7 topped off by an 8.4 pounder. Big babies are out there, you just gotta find em! Capt.ron
