Big fun on the Beach Wednesday. My crew for the day was Eric, Andrew, Shawn, and Richard. The winds gave us a break and we were able to hit the Sound. Our first couple of stops were a little slow with plenty of hardheads. We hopped around and got on a good bite. Fishing with dead shrimp on a jighead the big Sheepshead and Reds were giving the guys a workout. We filled the box to the top then headed a little closer in and picked up a few nice Trout to top off the box. The guys had a blast and headed home with a bunch of great eating fillets.
Spring is here and the action is great. The Trout are gearing up and the Sound is loaded with big fish when conditions permit. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and the newly improved back down ramps are open. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo's is waiting for you.
