Mosquito Lagoon/Indian River Lagoon
The past few weeks have been awesome! We have been catching redfish from 20-45 pounds! The fish have been hitting MirrOlure Top Dog Jr., She Dogs and Poppa Dogs. They have also been eating gold spoons and Rip Tide Conley Grubs on a 1/8 ounce jig heads. Recently Dick Read, his son Rick and their freind Jerry Stephenson caught and released 22 redfish between 5 and 45 pounds. We had 3 triple hook ups and 2 doubles on the day. These guys had a stellar day. Doug Childs fished two days in a row and landed 25 redfish. The first day yeilded 6 reds and they were all in the slot. The second day was sick. We landed 15 slot fish and Doug caught 2 fish at one time. Later he hooked 6 big redfish on top water plugs and landed four. It was just a great day! There are more reports on the website.
