On one trip my clients boated 28 Florida pompano at the barrier islands, as well as 6 hefty specks at the Katrina Reefs.
On another quick outing my clients landed 6 fine pompano, 35 or so white trout and ground mullet, as well as all the big ladyfish and bluefish they dared to battle.
And on my most recent trip after the passing of Hurricane Gustav, my two clients from Texas landed 5 redfish, 4 big specks, 2 flounders, and a nice mess of 3 or more white trout and ground mullet.
Bottom line, fishig has remained steady all summer long, and from now into the fall look for good fishing in south Mississippi to continue.
By the way, I also do guided diving duck hunts in south Mississippi with an emphasis on trophy redheads.
Remember...life is short...let's fish!
