[Vancouver Island,BC] 2009 is certainly one of the best years for fishing salmon in a long time. The waters along the beaches or surf line of Vancouver Islands West Coast and into Barkley Sound has been loaded with Coho, Chinook and Pink salmon. Fishing continues to be very good.

[Ucluelet,BC] Great fishing season in Ucluelet; summer of large and plentiful salmon! Sometimes couldn't hardly get a line down without a bite! Halibut was not as good as previous, but stil brought in limit almost daily. Great weather, got offshore almost every day.
