The yearly arrival of the Chinook Salmon has begun. These large and agressive Salmon are headed to the many rivers in the area. But before they do that they have to feed. I like to troll very slow with Cut Plug Herring down by the Skeena river mouth.

Day three of team JD and Bob. Yesterday was a bust for chinook with only one bite on my Cut Plug in 6 long hours. Today however was quite different. Great weather and calm waters allowed us to head to the Hecate for Halibut and Lingers.
