Capt. Ron/Fishermen/Wednesdays Report

2009-08-12 16:33:59
Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Ocean/Bay

Had to work the throttles in the AM as the incoming and East wind made it a dissaster for drifting. Had a nice pick going on until the current and drift reached 2.1 knots!!! Ran back to the reach to finish out the day with a pick on shorts and keepers.

Jimmy learn and Mitch Jevic had high hook honors with 3 nice fish in the cooler. Pool fish went 4 3/4 pounds.

Weather didn't wait till the afternoon to come through and put a damper on things for half the day. Plenty of fish around, like I said yesterday, don't wait too long!!! Capt.ron
