Great day on the Beach Wednesday (6/13/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] We called it quits at 1:00 to head in with 61 Trout, 1 Drum and 1 Flounder. The guys are pretty good fisherman and had a great time.
Hot fishing on the Beach Tuesday (6/12/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] Finally we found our last three Trout and headed on in early. Catch for the day was 75 fat Trout, 25 Sheepshead, 2 Flounder and 1 Drum.

[Shell Beach,LA] By 9:15 there were 75 nice 2-4 pound Trout on ice. We made a stop at a well on the way in to try for a couple Reds. We boated one Red, lost a few others, and also added 7 Sheepshead to the mix.

[Shell Beach,LA] Our final catch for the day was 101 Trout, 13 Sheepshead, 25 Channel Mullets, 3 Reds, 2 Drum, and 2 Flounder. It was a fun day with a great group of people.

[Shell Beach,LA] One of these days the weather will settle down. When it does the Trout will be out there waiting for you. Till then the Reds in the marsh have been a lot of fun.
Another windy fish filled day on the Beach (5/27/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] The guys ended up putting 21 Reds, 5 Drum, 7 Sheepshead, 10 Trout and 1 Flounder on ice. It was a fun day of fishing with a great group of guys.
Late report from Wednesday (5/26/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] Working some ponds with dead shrimp under a cork the guys put together a nice box of Reds, Drum, and Trout. It was a fun day of fishing in some not so great conditions.

[Shell Beach,LA] The second fish hooked and landed was a 27” 7.5 pound pig of a Trout by Gary. It was the biggest Trout any of us had seen alive in a boat and will soon be on his wall.
Small Craft Advisory Issued (5/19/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] We made several moves picking up fish at each and the guys managed to put together a nice box of fish in some horrible conditions. Ended up with 13 Reds, 12 Trout, 6 Drum, 3 Flounder, and one heck of a good time.
Fun day at the Beach (5/13/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] My crew were good fisherman and a blast to fish with. They made the day a lot of fun and all had a great time putting 90 Trout and 1 Red on ice.

[Shell Beach,LA] Numbers were not important for us today and we were not counting, so with the fish still biting and a nice cooler full we called it a day. We ended up with 50 in the box when I cleaned them.

[Shell Beach,LA] We made 3 stops at different well heads and found Trout at each. Fishing with Bayou Chubs under a cork the guys put 60 nice Trout on ice.

[Shell Beach,LA] Just drop a dead shrimp on a half ounce jig head along the rig and a big Sheepshead or Red would take it before it hit bottom.
What A Difference A Day Makes (3/19/2007)
[Shell Beach,LA] Sunday morning conditions were ideal unlike the day before. Total for the day was 21 Trout, 2 Reds, 1 Pompano, 3 Drum, and a load of Sheepshead.

[Shell Beach,LA] We stopped with 117 Trout, 3 Reds, 4 Drum, and 1 Sheepshead on ice. The Trout ranged from 12-20 inches and there were several throwbacks. We also had a few big Reds that broke off before getting to the net.
Two days of Fun on the Beach (10/19/2006)
[Shell Beach,LA] We sent this crew from Texas home with a truck load of fish fillets. Two days of fun on the Beach. We had a fun group of guys from Texas that comes to Fish With The King every year. On Wednesday’s trip I had Randy, Jay, Jeff, and Greg on board. The wind was flat and the fog thick as we left Campo’s armed with some of the prettiest shrimp to be found, each and every one of them guarantied to catch fish or die trying.
