[Tampa,FL] Water tempertures in the 70's sets all kinds of species in motion. Its possible to catch 10 speieces in a day this time of year.
[Tampa,FL] The size of this seasons neashore mackerel is amazing. These speedsters look more like Kingfish than Mackerel with 5-6 pounds becoming common!
[Tampa,FL] Grand Slam Tournaments are populars on Tampa Bay. Catch a snook, redfish and trout and you quailify.
[Tampa,FL] Cooling water temps triggers the fall Bonita, Kingfish and Mackerel runs. Baitfish are here in mass and the action will only heat up as the water cools towards the mahical 72 mark.
[Tampa,FL] Snook action is getting close to pre frezze condtions.Trout are hold up in deeper water.
[Tampa,FL] Mackerel and Bonita action is red hot both on the lower Tampa Bay and local beaches. Kingfish are starting to show up,look for that action to get better daily.Hard to find a better time for rod bending drag screaming action.
[Tampa,FL] With Tarpon on the beaches, snook on the passes and redfish on the flats its tuff picking which to target. Brisk winds pushed us into protected waters.
[Tampa,FL] We were late by 30 seconds to the red hot redfish action. Numerous boats converged leaving us out of position. Good news we had some great trout action.
[Tampa,FL] Fishing between fronts the last 3 weeks has been good to very good. Today was all about big fish.
[Tampa,FL] The annual circus has arrived on Tampa Bay. Saturday afternoon almost 20 boats converged all within several feet of each other. Mix in multiple hook ups on giant drum and it gets messy.
[Tampa,FL] Acres of 12" Silver trout are stacked in giant schools pn St. Petersbrug beaches. Just about any live, cut bait or lure fished in 15' off local beaches will score trout after trout.
[Tampa,FL] The big trout bite on lower Tampa Bay was as good as it gets today. Dozens of jumbo trout came out to play today.
[Tampa,FL] Spring like conditions adorned Tampa Bay. Trout action remains red hot while refish were picky.
[Tampa,FL] With the morning charter landing over 40 fish expectations were very high for my afternoon clients. Never assume....
[Tampa,FL] Father taking thier children fishing is as good as it gets. New Years day I was lucky enough to start my year with a great trip.
[Tampa,FL] The red hot trout action came to an abrupt halt! Tuesday storm chruned the water and trout will just not bite in dirty water.
[Tampa,FL] Winter means large schools of fiesty sea trout to 20". Large female Gator trout are loaners and will be found very shallow 1-2'.
[Tampa,FL] Winter brings outstanding trout action to Tampa Bay. Schooling trout to 20" can be caught in big quantitys. Large Gator Trout are loaners and will be skinny in less than 2' of water.
[Tampa,FL] December is not known for Bonita action on Lower Tampa Bay. Tons of bait and mild temps have Bonita and Kingfish still hanging around. Look for more super action with a warm weather forecast the next 10 days.

[Tampa,FL] Winter is loaded with options in West Central Florida. Local flats and rivers are holding good numbers of snook, redfish and trout.
[Tampa,FL] The lower Tampa Bay Redfish action is red hot. Large mullet schools are holding redfish 20-35".
[Tampa,FL] The rapidly approaching front put a damper on todays action. It was work locating both Trout and Mackerel that were willing to chew.

[Tampa,FL] As water temps cool and we approach October we know Mackerel and Kingfish will soon be here.Little did we know the explosion was about to start.
[Tampa,FL] Catching a snook redfish and trout on the same day is a Tampa Bay Grand Slam. Most tournaments are of this type.
[Tampa,FL] Every fall local beachs and grass flats get a major push of baitfish and cooler temps. Mackerel follow like clockwork and eat non stop.
[Tampa,FL] Cooling water temps and huge amounts of baitifsh equal the fall Mackerel blitz. As more baitfish arrives look for kingfish to arrive.
[Tampa,FL] The water has cooled to 80 degrees and the action is really warming up. Non stop action on trout jacks and sharks plus big reds.
[Tampa,FL] Fall is in the air. Water temps have dropped and the fall redfish blitz is on.
[Tampa,FL] Every fall jumbo redfish invade the passes and flats of lower Tampa Bay. Take your timeand make long casts and you will keep the school happy.

[Tampa,FL] Residential redfish 20-23" are very active. Schools of large 30" redfish have been more challenging to find day to day. Slighty cooler water has helped the local bite.

[Tampa,FL] It was fun day chasing snook and redfish after weeks of non stop tarpon fishing. The bite was challlenging but my anglers made the most of it.
[Tampa,FL] The 2011 Tarpon season continues with super action. Local passes, bridges and beaches are holding big numbers of Tarpon.
[Tampa,FL] Its prime Tarpon season on Tampa Bay and area beaches. May was good and June has been outstanding.
[Tampa,FL] Cobia have arrived in big numbers. Beaches, bridges and range markers are Cobia Condos. Tarpon are all over the region. Local Bridges and beaches are loaded.
[Tampa,FL] The Tarpon bite has been good all month. Today the Silver Kings got lock jaw and would not chew.
