Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Bay/Ocean

Same story as yesterday. Covered the bay, not much life. Looked out on the knoll and Romar, same story. Did read a ton of bait comming home, in the channel and just about all the way to our jetty. Fish shouldn't be too far behind.....Looked back at last year and noticed we were already catching fish, mostly small ones and the water temp was 44 degrees!!! Just goes to prove, every year is different, every day is a new begining. Capt.ron
