Fort Lauderdale

Fishing with Top Shot Sportfishing Charter Boat and Capt. Zsak Darrel and Darla Knight along with their children, Dru and Tyler, from Kentucky chartered the Top Shot Sportfishing charter boat team to do some deep sea charter boat sport fishing in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  As the Knight's boarded the boat, they were greeted by the Top Shot Sportfishing team and were asked what type of fishing they were interested in.  Their answer was that they were looking for action.

Fifteen minutes after leaving the dock, lines were in 120 ft. of water at the sea buoy in Fort Lauderdale, 1.8 miles from shore.  We started out trolling with two #8 plainers down and four surface baits.  We criss-crossed the reefs ranging from 80 ft. out to 190 ft.  As the action started, Darrel and Tyler were the first two anglers up.  They reeled in a father and son double header Bonitos.

From there, the whole family took turns reeling in their catches.  Afterwards, the ladies decided to go into the a/c salon to rest while father and son continued to bring in their catches.  Total catch for the Knight family was:  eight Kingfish and nine Bonitos.

It was time to head back to the dock.   The anglers retired into the a/c salon and enjoyed the relaxing trip back to the dock at Bahia Bar Yachting Center, 801 Seabreeze Blvd. Fort Lauderdale 33316.
