Rosie and her son Teddy from New Jersey came out fishing on Lady Pamela II with Captain Darin. The crew got warmed up by trolling up a couple of blackfin tunas and a king mackerel. Teddy was now ready to catch a big shark as he had never caught one before. Darin went out to 350 feet of water and set up in one of our go-to shark spots. Unfortunately, in three hours of shark fishing we never had a bite. Our go-to spot was no-go spot today! Darin was determined to get Teddy a shark so with 30 minutes left in the charter he ran inshore close to one of the channel buoys, hoping to get a bite. Just before lines up Teddy got the bite and he hooked a monster Nurse shark. This was a big fish that topped out at 8 1/2 feet long. Good job Teddy!

Tight Lines,
