We collected some live bait which proved to be tough with the speed that the boat was drifting but eventually we god around 10 or so. 2 persons in the party goy really sick and so we decided to do trawling as I find this usually helps with sea sickness.

We then did a trawl with light tackle along the 10m contour line and then back again on the 20m contour line. Along the 20m line we hooked up into 3 torpedo scads at once and then again into another one. I like the 20m line as I have hooked a lot of good game fish here including 4 Sailfish this year and our record 70Kg Sailfish last year.

This was around 9h30 and one of the people was so sea sick, we decided to go back in and try some drop shot in the harbour.

We hooked up a Garfish of around 1m long (No pic. Sorry the fish jumped the hook as we boated it).

I had 2 huge King fish of around 10Kg chase me right up to the boat. It was frustrating to watch them chase and then turn when you have no more line to reel in. The good news is that the King fish are back in the bay.
