Headed out today starting the New Year off right fishing with my dad. We fished both ends of the lake with the lower end in the morning. The fishing started kinda slow but as the sun topped the trees the fishing got better. We mainly fished for spots in the morning catching a couple of limits on a Jackall Smash Minnow. We then hit the docks fishing for Largemouth. I was doing good spanking dear ol' dad until he got that jig in his hand and put me back in my place.LOL He flat smacked em' on the jig culling everything we had caught in about 6 boat houses. All in all we had a great time and it was great to get to fish with him again. What a way to start the new year off. See you on the water and hope everyone had a safe New Years.

God Bless
