Had Njfishing own Eric the Mortgage Man, Will, Dan fresh in from California along with Jeb Looking for his first Striper... We had a 4 man crew today.
Was chompin at the bit to get out on our 3 pm trip because at 1pm i was hearing of a good Bite...
Left the dock at 2.45 and was headed towards the bite... But we didnt make it that far... Seen them crashing on top for a whole 1/4 mile...
Got set up on them and every rod went off... By the time we were done landing the fish we had to run a bit to get back on them they were moving fast... But we got 3 or 4 Great cracks at em with mutiple hookups and fish busting on top. After that it seemed the fleet appeared out of no where which slowed the bite up... Headed north and got into some bunkers but only had a 3 more runoffs and lost one during the battle.
Highlight was watching 4-6 Big Stripers all chasing Erics Plug on top...
Our fish were all between 20 -35 lbs... we had a bunch come unbuttoned proba few little bigger.
The PAYING CUSTOMERS CHOSE TO RELEASE ALL BUT 1 FISH AFTER A GOOD PIC KUDOS TO THEM!!!
Congrats to Jeb landing his first Striper, Limit and a fish over 30lbs...
