CHASE N' TAILS FISHING CHARTERS FISHING REPORT,

With the recent cold blast we got on the nature coast the fish have moved into the rivers, springs, cannals, and way back into the back country. What you need to do is find water temperature at least 62 or higher. Springs are a great starting point with the constant 73 deggrees water pumping out makes a perfect place for the fish to get warm. The redfish are in shallow water 10-14 inches find the mullet the reds are close by.I would use shrimp for the bait of choice and the way I hook my shrimp is rip off the tail and put the hook threw the tail end of the shrimp.I like a 1/0 or a 2/0 circle hook tied with a loop knot with 20lb suffix leader.Doing this you will get further distance in your cast and you are putting sent in the water .The trout are in the same area as the redfish we have been doing well on shrimp for live bait and white or gold jerk baits do the trick.Sheepshead action is good look for rocks or along seawalls a small piece of shrimp with a 1/0 j hook and a split shot is what i use. In these areas ther are

also BIG jacks, lady fish and black drum. So what i would do is take your time fish slow these fish are sluggish.

GOOD LUCK AND TIGHT LINES.
