Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/3/15

This past week on the water was still a shooting match for most of those that braved the wind and cold; the bite has for sure been more difficult as the winter time slower presentation seemed to be the best way to catch them. The problem was the water was high, so the current was strong and the ability to get to the bottom between current and wind was tough.

It was also a week of plenty of over cast skies and when this occurs in the winter the bass are scattered more and the difficulty level of scattered fish increases when they are not grouped up. Nothing earth shattering for sure, typical winter time fishing the elements were against you and you casted many times for a few bites; all said it still beats a good day at the office as the few bites made your day complete!

Come fish with me no one will treat you better I have guides and days available to fish with you; booking for 2015 call now to get your preferred dates!
