Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/17/18
This week produced a lot of big fish as the females were active all week long, finding their pattern though changed every day. Spring is always about adjusting and this past week forced you to be able to adjust as the lake gave you a different set of circumstances every day. We went from the water down some on certain days to no current then a by-product of them backing the water up; it was confusing some every day.
With the changes daily, we had to continually cover water and some days it was successful, and others presented a challenge; all of it was fun and had some good trips we just had to continually adjust and that is not always easy. We went from fishing 2 ft. of water to 9 ft. of water and many days it changed from hr. to hr. you just had to be persistent. If you liked changing baits and working new patterns every day this past week was glorious. We fished Tight-Line football jigs, Picasso Shock Waves, Missile Bait D-Bombs SPRO Rattle Baits and more.
