Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/12/12

This past week on the water, was met with changing temperatures, rain and north winds; what that meant for fishing was some great days and some typical days. When the rain set in we had some of the best days I have seen in many years, when the sun and high pressure was upon us, it was more of a struggle yet we caught fish all week long! The good was better than it gets, the typical was good but not terrific.

All said we caught fish all week and had some great days and I watched some customer's fish hard with average results and others in awe of the great results. They say when you "wow" a customer you have accomplished your goal and we certainly "wowed" a few!

We fished early most of the week with top-water baits and Punisher Spinner Baits off the ledges, and went to slower presentations like worms and Punisher "Hail Mary" rigged with a number two hook and floating creature baits. All said a great week, there is more to come and plenty of great days ahead!
