Capt. Chris and 1st mate Brian had the pleasure of hosting Kirk and his kids here @ All-Inclusive Sportfishing on the Marlin My Darlin. This wasn't Kirk:s first charter with us as he has taken two previous trips offshore with us, the last one netting a nice Swordfish. Today wasn't really about pursuing fish such as that Swordfish but about getting some action for the kids. Big ones are of course almost always welcome with us,and Kirk ass well, but that was not the priority today.

Kirk, Bret and Rachel checked in with us at the boat when they got in town to say hello and pick a day. As you are probably aware we have been getting a good amount of rain and after checking the forecast

(actually good!) and our existing bookings we set a day aside.

Good weather as predicted today with mostly lots of sun and good sea conditions. Chris did a bit of exploring off the edge today and the end result was some good action on Mahi-Mahi (9) to go with the usual Bonito and Barracudas. Pictured are Bret and Rachel.

So there are still some Mahi-Mahi offshore but the fishing for them will remain erratic. The Kingfish are going to bite on most days and the hungry hordes of Bonito should remain with us for awhile longer. Wahoo have for the moment backed off but are still very much on our radar.
