Chinook fishing is still very worthwhile off Thrasher Rock, Grande to Whalebone, and the Cannery. Depths range from 85 to 220 feet depending on bait concentrations. Chinook weighing up to 22.3 pounds are reported this week. Strip or whole baits fished in clear green scale Rhys Davis teasers, Coyotes in black/white or glow green/silver, or hoochies in green spackleback or gold are the lures of choice. Prawning is great off the Flat Top Islands. Try tuna cat food fished at 350 feet for best results. Good fishing!
