Fall time means lots of fresh salmon entering all our local rivers to spawn, and for those lucky anglers who dont mind cooler days on the river this means the best fishing of the year! Those massive Fraser river Sturgeon are also very aware of the salmon's presence and for them it means a free buffet and for the angler it means lots of hookups with one of the worlds biggest and strongest freshwater fish!

SALMON FISHING:

The Chum Salmon are now packed in all the Fraser valley rivers and very nice bright fresh Chums are entering the rivers on every high tide! Chum salmon are now in the famous Harrison river too!, these bruisers can tire out the toughest pair of arms! It's quite common for our clients to hook over 40 each in a day and they love our proven jigs! When we drift these under a float through schools of fresh fish it's just unfair for the salmon! they can't resist biting. The Harrison runs clear mostly so we often sight fish. Coho salmon are around too in decent numbers! Coho love our spoons and flies. I have been tying and perfecting Coho flies for over 12 yrs now, when that fly gets near a Coho it's game over!

There's going to be some very good salmon fishing in the Fraser river valley the remainder of October and well into November for those hard fighting Chums and Coho!. 2009 will be a year to remember! call us for details at (1) 604-864-5445

STURGEON FISHING:

The Fraser river Sturgeon are heavily feeding at this time of year and this means great fishing! This fishery is amazing and at times it's just one fish after another! Average size fish are generally 50 lbs and every trip produces much bigger fish over 100 lbs. There are an amazing number of 6-7 footers in this system which only speaks well of our catch and release policy that has been in place for over 12 yrs. A common myth that most anglers have heard is that Sturgeon are bottom fish and therefore fight lazy and dont do much except sit on the bottom. Fact is most Sturgeon immediately surge to the surface and jump or scream of line at amazing rates. That's why anglers from all over the world keep coming back to rebook with us!

Over the last week has been quite good! Our last trip produced some excellent fish that were very fat and full of energy, showing off with surface jumps and good runs!

November has some dynamite fishing and few anglers. Our boat is covered and heated for your comfort.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
