The Sacramento River flows are very low right now between 3200 and 3300cfs. That has allot of the boat ramps high and dry.

The Wild Rainbow Trout fishing is good as always on the Sacramento River we are also catching a couple of Steelhead each trip out that weigh from 2lbs. To 5lbs. The weather has been good for winter steelhead fishing but the recent storms will change that for awhile it take a few days to warm enough to get the bugs to hatch again for the fly fisherman but there are other ways of fishing the Sacramento River that work very well. The Trout are biting on fly's, live bait , glow bugs and plugs.

Have made a few sturgeon fishing trips in the past 3 months and had allot of fun fighting these big fish .A 6 footer is a BLAST they are so big and powerful it takes about 30 minutes to land one.
