"Yellow Perch" Good to limit catches of yellow perch are being taken around Kelleys Island in 22 to 42 feet of water using spreaders tipped with Lake Erie Shiners. We limited this week on Friday with 125 perch in 2 1/2 hours. The perch averaged 8 to 9 inches with a number of 11 to 12 inch jumbos. These fish are being taken close to the island which allows for less travel time and more fishing time.
"Walleye" Reports of good walleye catches around F Can near the border and Northwest of North Bass are being reported. Also, walleyes are reported being taken off the rock piles around the different reef areas of the Bass Islands and Kelleys Island.
