Fishing is unusually good for February. Fish are being caught in deep water on live shad. We had our first longing trip of the season today and it proved quite productive. We caught and released numerous fish over twenty inches with one lunker in the 15 lb. plus category. We caught most of the fish on ledges adjacent to deep water. The fish were caught on deep diving thundersticks in the smokey joe and fire tiger colors. Look for the fishing to get even better with warming water temperatures.
