Barry Weaver

I've been fishing a weekly Tuesday night tournament at lake weir for the past 6 week's. I have not seen one night when a fish bigger than 6 lb's has not been caught. Lake weir is a really tough lake during the day but at night these fish really turn on. My partner caught his biggest fish to date (8-11) 2 week's ago on a crankbait I custom painted for him. I've seen four nine pounders, some 8's, and several 7's. I had no idea Weir had fish like this in it until I starting night fishing it. Sometime's they want the big worm's, T-rigged with a big weight. Other night's they only want crankbaits! What ever their hitting you can bet if you make it out there at night your odd's are good on hooking a hog!

If your interested in the Tuesday night tournaments, their every tuesday from 7pm-11pm and entry is only $25 a boat. That's at the carney boat ramp. Barry--- aka: thecrankincracker.com
