Late report for Thursday from the Beach. I picked up Jim Walther and the rest of his crew, Chris, Ernie, and David from Jim's camp. We headed out to the Sound and got on a slow but steady bite of some nice Trout fishing with Campo's live shrimp on a light Carolina rig. The action would start and stop then start again. We stuck with it till it died out with over 90 Trout on ice. We made a move closer in and picked up some more Trout before calling it a day with 104 and headed in early.
The fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding and it is prime Trout time. Campo's is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and two back down ramps.
