[Shell Beach,LA] I had the pleasure of fishing with Omar and Keith from San Diego. Both have fished with me several times before. The weather was perfect, cool, clear and little wind. They were more interested in catching Reds, Drum, and Heads than Trout. They would rather something that fights back.

[Shell Beach,LA] I had the pleasure of fishing with Chris Hermann, his dad, father in law, and brother in law. The water was high and so was the wind as we left Campo’s. We headed over behind Hopedale. Tried out a little different area not far from where we have been killing them. The bite was steady, but never fast and the Trout were nice sized.

[Venice,LA] Another series of successful trips is on the books. The fishing is a good as it gets right now. Most days we are done tuna fishing with our self imposed boat limit anywhere from 12-1:00 in the afternoon.

[Shell Beach,LA] We had a light SW wind and a good falling tide. We started out in Lake Borgne and got on a couple good Trout bites working along the shore with live shrimp under a cork. There were plenty throwbacks mixed in at first. With a move to another section of the shore we got on some better Trout.

[Big Lake,LA] many of us always look forward to the shrimp moving our of the marshes and into the main lake...that has started to happen. The cold front coming this week will speed that process up. Fishing gets easy then as you just follow the birds.

[Shell Beach,LA] We started out in Lake Borgne and on got a few Trout early, but the bite was short lived. There was no tide moving in the Lake or the Biloxi Marsh. We picked up a few fish here and there, but lots of throw backs. Got a call from Capt. Frank that he was on a good bite so we headed his way.

[Shell Beach,LA] We headed over behind Hopedale in Lake Robin. We did not find any Trout, but did find some nice Puppy Drum. We then moved on and hit several spots with little to show for. We fished a lagoon off the Twin Pipeline and got on a good bite.

[Shell Beach,LA] Robert Perilloux brought down a group of nine fishermen for some Shell Beach fishing fun. Capt. Frank took four and the rest hopped in my boat. We fished the Biloxi Marsh with some windy conditions and plenty of water. Fishing with Campo’s live shrimp under a cork the action was non stop.

October is a super month....I know football is in the air but on the STRIKE ZONE TOO you won't miss any games even when you or out in the Gulf 100 miles....sit back after bring in a 100+ lb Yellowfin and turn to your favorite game on our 48 inch TV in the AC with a cool beer and wait until the captain yells out "FISH ON"""

[Shell Beach,LA] Fishing with Campo’s live shrimp under a cork the guys got on a good trout bite. The Trout were nice and fat 16”-18” fish. Once this bite faded we made a few moves and found some more Trout.

[Delacroix,LA] No tidal movement today so we had to find wind driven water to catch fish. We worked a windward point to catch trout, redfish, flounder and black drum.

[Shell Beach,LA] I picked Jim and his friends Clint and Bucky from Jim’s camp. Armed with Campo’s live shrimp and croakers we headed over to an island in Machias that has been holding some good Trout. The guys put a few in the boat, but never could get them going.
