Loxahatchee is a great place to do some summertime fishing with friends and family.

Loxahatchee has many different types of fishing cover, shallow water fishing to canal fishing, which makes an exciting day trying to figure them out.

The Larger fish have seemed to have moved off the shallow grass into the main canals, unless you can find a few deeper holes in the grass where the water temp drops a few degrees.

The Topwater bite has been great in the early morning, later in the day try throwing 10inch Gambler worms on the deep ledges and drop offs and Aces, flappin' shad, flukes tight to cover in the pads, also Giggy sticks anywhere you find rocks, the fish will be hold close.

Be patient the big bites will come think slow sinking time.
