Troy Creasy (10/24/2009)
[Salmon River,NY] Well the rain dance for the weekend fell on deaf ears at we barely got enough to bring fish into the small streams, and it did little to increase the flows on the big rivers.

Troy Creasy (10/13/2009)
[Pulaski,NY] We made it through another Columbus Day weekend. With water in all the area streams and the river at a level that makes it difficult to see the fish, it really was not that crowded, considering it was the biggest weekend of the year.

[Lake Ontario,NY] The lake season is winding down for me as I switch gears and put on waders for the next 8 months. The lake fishing will continue right into October, but I had some early river reservations this year so I only have a week left on the big pond.

[Lake Ontario,NY] The month of June is all but in the books.
Not a banner month by any means but in the last five days there was more fish caught in the eastern basin then there was the entire month so things are improving daily.

[Lake Ontario,NY] Monster walleye are still roaming close to shore on Lake Ontario's east end. Water temkps are ideal for bait and predators alike keeping the hungry fish in close to shore later the usual this season.
Lake Ontario Fishing Report by
Troy Creasy (6/07/2009)
[Lake Ontario,NY] It was a tough slow weekend for most of us. Everything seems to be scattered and the browns have been real tough most days. We just finished a clear sky, full moon pattern and that never spells good fishing for us.
World Class Walleyes by
Shane Thomas (6/03/2009)
[Lake Ontario,NY] 10 pound plus walleye have been common the last few weeks. We're finding it hard to catch small
''eater'' size fish.

[Lake Ontario,NY] The hotspots over the holiday weekend were the buoys at nine mile point early for browns and then 150 to 200 FOW between Nine mile and Oswego was good for salmon and steelhead.
