Guys, the wind was howling this week so we didn't go out as much as we usually do. We still pocked our noses out there a few times. The Swordfishing the other night was phenomenal. Everyone that went out there caught swordies, and mutliple ones at that. Our charter boat went out on a swordfish run the other night and was 4/7. It was a really crazy night of fishing. One of the best swordfishing trips I've seen in a while.

Saturday night we hosted the first Swordfish Central swordfishing seminar. The wind was like 20-25 knots that night so we never made it out into the ocean. We spent the entire time in the intercoastal teaching eachother our rigging techniques, practicing harpooning methods with pumpkins and having a grand ole' time with some fellow fishermen. It was a good trip. I wish it would have been calm enough out there that night to go do some fishing. I know we woulda caught some with all the knowledge we had on the boat that night.

Daytime fishing was really good this week as well. The sailfish are here, almost in full swing. They are following the huge schools of mullet and other baitfish migrating down the coast. The big dolphins are in with the sailfish also. We've had a few good days with both species. The wind died down today so the weather is much better now. I'm looking forward to a great month for sailfish, swordfish and dolphin. Until next week, cya on the water.
