The fishing on the St Johns River is still wide open with both artificial

and live bait catching Trophy Bass and Great numbers. We have been

going through 6 to 7 doz shiners on 6 hr trips with catches of up to 40

fish. The artificial bite has been just as good with one 4 hr trip producing

37 fish.Today my client Eric and his nephew Kadin of WC had a great

6 hr trip using artificial baits only.Total number was 20 with Eric catching

the biggest fish of his life weighing 8 pounds. Rattle Traps and a

Texas rigged worm we the bait of choice today.
