Today, I had Kevin and his two boys, Hunter & Tuner, from Tennessee. They had never saltwater fished before and were a little out of their element, but it didn't take them long to learn how to get the hook ups on the elusive sheepshead.

We were scheduled for a long day on the water (7-hours) so I wanted them to experience a few different styles of fishing other than the 'sheepies' in the pass. After we fished for sheepies for a few hours, we then went looking for some ling on the beach. Didn't see any, but I did find two large schools of Jacks and boy did my clients have fun.

On the first school, we hooked one and had a second one on, but the hook pulled.

Hunter fought this fish for a while, and after he landed it we snapped a few pics and went looking for the school again; couldn't find them. So, I started to get the rods ready for Spanish mackerel, and all of sudden I stumbled on a different school with more fish. We got a triple hookup on this school and the boys did great.

What a great trip; lots of sheepies for dinner and sore arms from the jacks.

Till the next adventure.

Tight Lines..
