Fished Power Plant Flats this weekend and even though finding clear water the fish just didn't cooperate as well as we had hoped. Using MirroLure MirroDines in chartreuse color and Model 14A Bombers we did find some fish to cooperate, however not large numbers. Trout are holding on the edges of the potholes and casting the edges is what we found to produce the best results. Most of the Trout that we caught were between 19" to 24" and were released to be caught another day. Our best action was in 3' of water after the sun warmed the water up which was around noon. Snook action was slow however we did manage to catch a couple fo shorts fishing the Mangroves. Using the MirroDine once again payed off by casting under the Mangroves and slowly working it outwards. We found no Redfish in the area, however once the water temps warm back up we beleive this will not be the case.
