Fishing in our local inshore and nearshore flats have been very good, a lot of people think the hotter it gets out side that the fishing is poor but if you know when and where to go the fishing is great. Red fish are chewing very good on the incoming tide I like a incoming first thing in the morning, live bait is the ticket for big reds. Green backs and pin fish are my top choise, look for red on the outside points, islands, and oyster bars. Trout are in the deeper grass flats along with sharks and big sea bass. Jigs is the best way to go. A 1/4 ounce jig head with a white gulp shrimp or the Mirr o lure Lil jon in the white color is working very good limits of trout on every trip.
