Early morning top water action has been fantastic on the Neuse River near New Bern. Returning psot spawn stripers have been bust every thing that moves. The best of the top water action has been from day break to 8:30 - 9 AM with sub-surface soft plastics and flies continuing to produce to lunch. Afternoon bite have also been productive. Look for the action to continue into the end of the month and slow down a bite as the water temps continue to rise.

I do have a few openings including Sat May 21, if you'd like to get in on the action.
