The wedding is over-back to catching fish by
(2009-11-17 21:39:53)
[Cape Fear River] As many of you know, I got married on Oct 10 and spent the next two weeks in Hawaii. While there, I spent one day Marlin fishing out of Kona. I didn't catch my marlin, but I did get hooked up with an approx. 400+lb Blue Marlin. My wife and I were on the bridge with the first mate when I saw the big blue crash the short left rigging and begin dumping a 130!!! It was very exciting but after about 1/2hour, the hooks pulled. Oh well, that's fishing. At least I got some time in the chair.

Lake Wisconsin October Walleyes & Saugers by
(2009-10-26 21:02:42)
[Wisconsin River] October walleye & sauger fishing on Lake Wisconsin seems to run hot & cold. Some years it’s really good and other years, not so good. This year is running mostly in the not so good category and because of that, I'm hearing plenty of regulars wondering out loud about why that is.
Salmon River, Oswego River Fishing Report by
(2009-10-24 09:59:39)
[Salmon River] Well the rain dance for the weekend fell on deaf ears at we barely got enough to bring fish into the small streams, and it did little to increase the flows on the big rivers.
Lake Wisconsin Fall Walleye & Sauger Fishing Report by
(2009-10-20 21:49:19)
[Wisconsin River] The fall walleye & sauger bite continues to be a work in progress. As of this past weekend, the bite was slightly better than the previous two weeks of October but not even close to where we hope to see it in another week or two.
There are fish willing to bite if you’re willing to put in some work finding them and working through several different presentations in order to trigger them.

Lake Wisconsin Fall Crappies, Saugers & Walleyes by
(2009-10-13 05:57:06)
[Wisconsin River] The screwy weather we had in September definitely had an effect on fishing here on Lake Wisconsin. Overly warm weather kept the crappies from setting up in there usual fall patterns and my fall fishing success suffered because of it. We did get on some crappies, but nothing like a normal September of the past.

(2009-07-07 06:31:29)
[St. George River] Summer has arrived in the midcoast and we should see a huge improvement in our Striper fishery. Bright skies and warm breezes will make our outings all that much more enjoyable. The early morning tides over the next few days should prove to be very good. Low light coupled with low water are two of the pieces of the puzzle that have been bringing it all together lately.
