Hey all,

Long time no talk! Hope everyone is doing well. This past year I know I had the most fun I've had in years on the water. We were lucky enough to have the best groups come with us, and more laughs and beers (by the guests) were shared on the water than ever before!

This season also treated us with some amazing fishing! Many a day every pass off the 'kelp bed' or 'the rock' kept our boat full of beautiful Chinook (King) salmon. This year also presented some amazing Coho (Silver) fishing! Every day out we were loading the boat up with HUGE Coho's'most in the 12-16lbs range, with several topping 20lbs. Halibut continued to be easy to catch almost everyday. This year we caught more halibut when salmon fishing than ever before, including some monsters such as Stacy Dallyn's 75lbser and Mark Koehler's 130lbser that took almost 2 hrs to reel in with the salmon gear. Towards the end of the year we found some unreal Red Snapper and Ling holes as well, with limits being reached every time out (weather permitting).

The Chinook this year seemed to be large as well. Tons of Chinook in the 30-45lbs range caught'as well as several over 50lbs.

Possibly the highlight of my year was with the Dave Reardon group. With already 7 King salmon in the boat for the day, and only one more needed to limit, a school of at least 100 dolphins swarmed the boat, and at the exact same time, we hooked onto a beautiful Chinook that went nuts as the dolphins swam around him. The dolphins hit the line and I honestly thought there was no way we were going to land him'but 10 minutes later we had a beautiful 28lbs King salmon on board and were limited out for the day!

For the '09 season, we are over half booked already, and still have 3 trade shows to attend in San Mateo (January), Calgary (February), and Salt Lake City (March). There are a couple spots left in August, and about ' of July open. So if you are interested in an amazing fishing trip, give us a call and book now before it's too late. As a side note, at the current time the US dollar is 29% stronger than the CDN'so all of you from the US this is essentially a 29% discount!! A great time to put a deposit down on an amazing fishing trip as the CDN dollar is expected to rebound soon.

Hope to see some of you out here this upcoming summer!

Best Wishes,

David Summers
