1923 2-prints Vintage Fishing Florida Big Tarpon Fish 2 Vintage 1920's sepia-tone photo-print/clippings of: TWO VINTAGE FISHING SCENES, OF THE COAST OF FLORIDA, SHOWING SOME BIG TARPON FISH CAUGHT, with the descriptions taped to the back. The prints measure approx., 8 x 4", in Inches (edge-to-edge) - They are a published prints on paper from 1923 (Not recent reprints or Reproductions), with a soft-flat non-glare surface finish, (but Not a 'real-photo', just to be clear), taken directly from a New York Times Bound Volume of world events during the early 1920's, printed in 1923, therefore, this actual print the buyer will receive is about 86-years-old. They were printed with a process then called Rotogravure Printing (similar to Photogravure, there are no dots, it has a grainy finish, when looked at it under a magnifying glass), which produced nice picture prints on paper with good depth-of-field and clearity, and gave the image some of the qualities and characteristics of a 'real-photo' without actualy being one. They have been permanently mounted on sepia-tone light-weight [ACID-FREE, ARCHIVAL] backing board, shown below, (to protect them from bending and/or creasing, and preserve them for many years). Also publishing/printing documentation will be sent with the prints to the winning bidder, for proof of age verification and authentication. They are in overall Very-Good Condition, (no significant flaws found). They would be suitable for matting and/or framing or placed in a vintage (Fishing) collectors' scrapbook or folder. Let the buyer be assured that it will be shipped safely and securely backed by thick cardboard to protect it from bending or any other Postal damage, and will have a "Do Not Bend - PHOTO" Stamped or Written on both sides of the envelope.
