These custom made Fluorocarbon leaders have a silver plated blade about 18 inches up from the clasp, this gives the appearance of bait fish being chased. The blade is silver plated, not chrome or nickel, it has a higher reflection value than those finishes. Which means more flash. These leaders are made from 100 pound test YO-ZURI H.D. 100% Fluorocarbon leader material. The size 5 crane swivels are rated to 175 pounds and the heavy duty Stringease Stay-Lok snap is rated to 150 pounds. Never have to worry about these coming undone and losing a trophy.

Because these leaders use a crimp, designed specifically for nylon use, they retain very close to 100% of line strength. Other leaders break at the knot, because all knots create a weak spot. Usually well below the line's per pound test capacity. The tag ends of the leaders are heat treated to help lessen the possibility of the crimp failing and the line sliding back through the crimp.Our leaders have plenty of strength to tame the largest muskie and the fluorocarbon's disappearing act to fool the wariest.
