These custom made Fluorocarbon leaders are made from 100 pound test Yo-Zuri H.D. Fluorocarbon material. The size 5 crane swivels are rated to 175 pounds and the heavy duty Stay-Lok snap is rated to 150 pounds. With these snaps don't have to worry about losing a trophy with a failed snap.

Because these leaders use a crimp, designed specifically for nylon use, they retain very close to 100% of line strength. Other leaders break at the knot, because all knots create a weak spot. Usually well below the line's per pound test capacity. The tag ends are heat treated to help lessen the possibility of the crimp failing and the line sliding through the crimp.Our leaders have plenty of strength to tame the largest muskie and the fluorocarbon's disappearing act to fool the wariest.
